On September 23rd, the opening ceremony of vocational education training for Ivorian teachers was held. Mr. Koffie Fofie, Advisor to the Minister of National Education, Technical Education, and Vocational Education, Mr. Sainy Kouakou Kouame Victor, General Inspector, and Mr. Coulibaly Hamidou, Director of Human Resources from of Côte d'Ivoire, Mr. Qin Qingsong, President, Mr. Liu Hong, Vice President from Qingdao Technical College (QTC), and Mr. Bai Hao, Deputy Manager of Business Department Four from AVIC-INTL PROJECT Engineering Company participated in the opening ceremony together with 13 teachers from Cote d 'Ivoire, teachers' representatives of QTC, and heads of QTC department.
President Qin extended a warm welcome to the guests and expressed gratitude for AVIC INTL's trust and support. Qin pledged to provide excellent faculty, facilities, and services to the Ivorian teachers during their stay and looked forward to further strengthening cooperation with AVIC INTL and expanding the way of “going out” in Chinese vocational education.
Mr. Bai Hao introduced the latest achievements and landmark projects of AVIC INTL's in serving the "Belt and Road" initiative and expressed a desire to deepen further cooperation with QTC. Mr. Koffie Fofie emphasized the significance of the training for vocational education in Côte d'Ivoire and praised the arrangements of QTC.
Speeches from QTC staffs and Ivorian teachers were also delivered. After the conference, guests from Côte d'Ivoire and AVIC INTL officials visited some representative training bases of QTC.
The training program will span four months with 640 teaching hours.
